Have you ever had the desire to make a difference in your community, school, country, or the entire world in which we all live? Do you often stop when you think of all the forces and people that don’t want to see the status quo changed? Right now, we the citizens of the State of California, have decided that we want change. Change the system, change the leadership, and in the process change the apathy that we feel toward our government.

This election is not an anomaly but the beginning of a larger trend toward fixing up our democracy, the basis of our society and an example to the rest of the world. Every citizen deserves a vote and in turn the society expects each of us to contribute to our political well-being. I am running as a non-partisan, independent of the party politics that have threatened to destroy our proud democracy. It is time for people like you and me to take back what is rightfully ours; the control of our communities, our natural resources, and our destiny.
